Emily

Emily was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario. She is a recent graduate of the University of Waterloo's Honours Theatre and Performance and Business program, where she deepened her passion for both the dramatic arts and for people. As a multidisciplinary artist (more specifically, in Performance, Playwrighting, Songwriting, Directing, Dramaturgy/Research, and Theatrical Criticism), every educational and professional opportunity that Emily has encountered, has continually highlighted an immovable desire and priority to make genuine connections with others, while emphasizing the power of representative storytelling.  

Liberty For Youth has always been an organization that Emily admired. Growing up, within a church community of consistent cheerleaders for Liberty For Youth, Emily witnessed the incredibly special and impactful people- and community-centered heart-posture that Liberty For Youth so gracefully operates from. Emily is so thrilled to be joining the Liberty For Youth team, as an intern Program Facilitator, to build meaningful mentoring relationships and help uplift the dreams of youth in the program.
