Zach is currently a student on his last placement in the Child and Youth Care Program at Mohawk College, Hamilton, ON. From an early age, he was interested in working with children and youth. When Zach was 13, he volunteered alongside his mother at their church’s Sunday School program. This experience was the launching pad for the multiple experiences he has had working with youth, including coaching lacrosse and basketball for the past 6 years.
These experiences led him to a unique and exciting internship opportunity with Liberty For Youth as a Program Facilitator for the Prodigal Sonz Program. Zach plays the role of part mentor, part teammate and part coach. It is Zach’s hope to make a positive impact on the youth he is working with and mentoring and is thankful for how much they also are teaching him.
