Det. Rob Lejeune

Background: Robert Lejeune moved to Hamilton in 2000 and attended Mohawk
College. He has been employed as a police officer since 2005 and has worked in
patrol and as a detective in the Criminal Investigations Branch, and Victims of
Crime Unit. He continues his studies in the area of Criminal Justice through
Athabaska University. He enjoys being active through cycling and has a love of
music.

Community: Robert is involved in his church and plays guitar/sings in the
church worship team. He volunteers with various community groups which are
focused on protecting the safety of women and children and believes that
serving the community where he lives is essential to building positive
relationships and having a lasting impact on people’s lives. Robert is also
involved with the Hamilton Police Male Chorus by providing musical
entertainment to many groups throughout the community.

Goals: Robert believes that the positive mentorship programs that Liberty for
Youth provides, help youth in Hamilton to reach their full potential. He
desires to continue to observe and be actively involved with youth by helping
them succeed in life through finding a vision for their future which will
impact their families and community.
