3rd Annual Skilled Trades Roundtable & Stair Climb Event
This event provided an opportunity for 21 skilled trade professionals to offer mentorship to 31 youth through strategic conversations while collectively climbing over 20,000 steps at the Chedoke Escarpment Stairs. Skilled trades professionals partnered one-on-one with youth participants, sharing insights about the educational paths they pursued, what a typical day in their profession looks like, and offering valuable connections to those interested in joining their fields.
We were proud to have a wide range of professionals represented, including electricians, plumbers, construction specialists, aviation experts, culinary arts, healthcare experts and many more!

We extend our deepest gratitude to all the professionals who participated. Your attendance and mentorship have made a lasting impact on each of the youth. Some youth learned that skilled trades are the right path for them, others learned that they need more information to think about their decision, and finally, some learned that the skilled trades are not for them. Overall, all youth left with greater knowledge and understanding.
