Jenny

Jenny grew up on a hobby farm in Shedden before moving to St. Thomas in her late teens. She received her Child and Youth Care diploma from Fanshawe College in 2018, and in 2020 received a certificate in Concurrent Disorders from Mohawk College. She has always had a passion for working with youth and animals as she believes there are many benefits to animal assisted therapy. Through her experience, she has seen how horses can make a difference in an individual’s life, teaching them different skills and also being a nonjudgmental companion. Over the years, Jenny has worked in different group homes. Now, Liberty for Youth has given her the opportunity to put both of her passions together as program facilitator at the 7R’s Ranch.
