Begins at Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum
Liberty For Youth is pleased to announce our upcoming 10th Annual Eagle Ride Motorcycle Event. Liberty For Youth’s Annual Eagle Ride Motorcycle Event helps raise money for our Mentoring Program and provides post-secondary scholarships to our youth who are often first-generation college attenders.
Each year MP David Sweet leads our ride in support of Liberty For Youth. MP David Sweet said, “I have been heavily involved with Liberty For Youth for 13+ years and it’s amazing to see the positive impact they are making on Hamilton’s high-risk youth community.” He also added, “...it would be great to see our community come out and support an organization such as this, I can affirm that they are working hard to provide a life changing service to our youth”.
The Eagle ride is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 22nd, 2020 - Rain or Shine. Registration will begin at 8:30 am. Shirts & patches will be given to each registered rider. Early Registration is encouraged to minimize personal contact and line-ups & to ensure your shirt size availability. Kickstands up at 10 am!
The poker-style ride will begin at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum - 9280 Airport Road, Mount Hope, ON L0R 1W0. Riders will then travel through the scenic Hamilton/Haldimand/Niagara area, collecting cards at 3 set stops along the way. We will have a BBQ for the participants following the ride. Ride-through or take out options only. Poker hand winners will be announced during this time.
*Due to Covid-19 regulations and restrictions this year’s event/ride will ONLY be open to riders/passengers. We will NOT enter the museum or gather an outdoor crowd.
