Privacy Policy

Liberty For Youth and its affiliates have developed this Privacy Policy to handle personal information collected from individuals who have been involved with the program.

1. Consent for Collection, Use and Disclosure

  1. Your use of the Liberty For Youth program and website constitute your consent to the terms of this privacy policy.
  2. If you do not agree with the terms of the privacy policy, please do not send personal information.
  3. LFY reserves the right to update this privacy policy; however, LFY will seek individual’s consent for any new uses or disclosures of information collected from the individual prior to the change.
  4. LFY will not notify individuals of changes that will be collected from them in the future.
  5. LFY will not inform and obtain the consent of the individual such as in an investigation of a breach of agreement, contravention of laws, an emergency where the life, health or security of an individual is threatened, or in compliance with the request of a law enforcement agency or court order.
  6. A Customer may withdraw his or her consent for collection, use and disclosure at any time by sending a written request to the board of directors of LFY.

2. Accountability

  1. LFY collects certain information at the time of your providing the testimonial. This information includes, but is not limited to: your name, e-mail address, phone number, and address. This information will not be made available to others who visit the website, and will be kept confidential.
  2. LFY has implemented this Privacy Policy to protect personal information received from individuals. The Privacy Policy also provides LFY will use appropriate contractual means to establish a comparable level of protection for personal information.
  3. LFY has designated responsibility for your personal information to it’s board of directors, who ensures compliance with the principles in this Privacy Policy. Other LFY individuals may be delegated to act on behalf of the Board of Directors.

LFY collects and uses personal information for the following indentified purposes.

  1. To understand individual’s needs regarding the services of LFY.
  2. To develop and provide our website and our products and services for our customers
  3. To communicate with individuals requiring services, and visitors of the website when necessary, and to inform them of changes in the program.
  4. To personalize some of our services for you and to deliver targeted assistance.
  5. To comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process or goverment request.
  6. To protect the services, products or rights of LFY, including, but not limted to the security of integrity of the LFY site.

4. Limiting the Collection of Personal Information

  1. LFY limits its collection of personal information to only that information which is necessary for the indentified purposes.
  2. LFY does not direct it’s site to, nor does it collect any personal information of individuals without their knowledge of it’s purpose.

  1. LFY does not rent, sell or disclose your personal information to anyone, except:
    1. To someone you have designated to act as your agent, for one or more of the identified purposes (listed in section 2)
    2. To employees, board members, affiliates, business associates, or agents acting on the behalf of LFY for any of the indentified purposes.

As necessary if LFY has reason to believe that disclosure is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference (either intentionally or unintentionally) with LFY’s rights or property, other users of LFY’s website, services, or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities.

  3. After your account becomes inactive (that is, if you request to be removed from our database), LFY will keep your personal information in its archives. Your information will then be used only as necessary for tax reasons or to prove LFY’s compliance with any applicable law.
